Idutywa East Water Supply Scheme : Phase 1 to 4

Bid documents will be available from the Engineering Services Department upon payment of a non-refundable fee of R100 (One hundred Rand) for each document (either in cash or by means of a bank guaranteed cheque) made payable to the Amathole District Municipality.  The deposit is to be paid at the Ground Floor, Budget and Treasury Office, 40 Cambridge Street, East London between the hours of 07h30 and 15h00 prior to the collection of the bid documents from the ENGINEERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT, 6^th Floor, Caxton House, Caxton Street, East London.  The four documents will be available on Friday, 26 June 2009.

A compulsory site inspection for all four projects will be held on 1 July 2009 at 10h00. Prospective bidders are to meet at the Mbashe Local Municipal Offices located at 4036 Streatfield, Idutywa at the said time.

Completed bid documents are to be placed in a sealed envelope endorsed “IDUTYWA EAST WATER SUPPLY SCHEME: PHASE 1:  BID No. 8/2/224/2008-2009A – AMATHOLE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY" or “IDUTYWA EAST WATER SUPPLY SCHEME: PHASE 2:  BID No. 8/2/224/2008-2009B – AMATHOLE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY" or “IDUTYWA EAST WATER SUPPLY SCHEME: PHASE 3:  BID No. 8/2/224/2008-2009C – AMATHOLE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY" or “IDUTYWA EAST WATER SUPPLY SCHEME: PHASE 4:  BID No. 8/2/224/2008-2009D – AMATHOLE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY"  must be deposited in the Bid Box, at the offices of the Amathole District Municipality, 40 Cambridge Street, East London, 5200, not later than 11h00 on Friday, 24 July 2009, at which time the bids will be opened in public.
