ADM COUNCIL ENDORSES NEW EXECUTIVE MAYOR

Following the resignation of Cllr Nomfusi Nxawe as the Amathole District Municipality (ADM) Executive Mayor, Cllr Khanyile Maneli has been endorsed as the new ADM Executive Mayor. Maneli w
as first sworn in as the councillor of ADM in a vacancy left by another resignation of a Member of Mayoral Committee, Cllr Sithembele Zuka. ADM Council nominated and endorsed Maneli as the new ADM Executive Mayor in a special council meeting held today the 25th March 2020.
“As this council, we welcome the new Executive Mayor, he will receive our unwavering support to ensure he carries his responsibility with ease.” Said ADM council Speaker Cllr Nceba Ndikinda.
